Our Accreditation Process
At GAB, the process of conferring on the accreditation status is different. The quality and standard of educational provision is evaluated through a predefined and proven method which involves rigorously evaluating the applicant institutions and their individual schools and programs, based on the best global practices in working-adult or distance education. This careful inspection of an applicant’s management, quality of education, processes and methods ensure all accredited institutions meet GAB’s globally recognized and preset standards. Not only that, for the interest of working adults who want to get quality education, GAB also tends to create an alliance with all accredited institutions to spread all the up-to-date information and news on the existing standards in worldwide distance learning education.Accreditation at GAB for all the applicant institutions is a collegial procedure of self-review and peer review for improvement of academic quality and public accountability of institutions and programs.
Normally, it involves three major activities:
- A self-study by an institution or program using the predefined benchmark or criteria of GAB
- A peer review of an institution or program to collect the confirmation of quality.
- A decision or judgment by our faculty to accredit, accredit with conditions or not accredit an institution or program.
Our Standards
GAB has a set of predefined and proven educational standards that must be followed by all the applicant institutions. These standards are designed as per the needs and requirements of working adults education and include each and every feature of any educational institution, its programs, areas of study, fee structure, learning schedule, way of examining candidates, enrollment procedures etc.
